Web Development
Custom Web Development for Southern California Businesses
Most business websites are not slow, invisible, or hard to update by accident. They end up that way because they were assembled from a template that was never meant to carry a real business, and then patched for years by whoever was available. Rebuilding on a foundation that fits what your business actually does is usually cheaper than another round of patching.
We build custom websites and web applications for companies across Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire, and Orange County. That ranges from a marketing site that has to be found in local search and turn visitors into calls, through to customer portals, booking systems, and internal tools that replace a spreadsheet somebody has been quietly maintaining for years.
Every project starts with what the site has to accomplish commercially, not with a design trend. If the goal is more qualified inquiries from the San Gabriel Valley, that decides the page structure, the copy, and where the phone number goes.
What Web Development includes
A site built for your business, not a theme you rent
No page builder tax, no plugin stack that breaks when one vendor pushes an update, no licence that expires. The code is written for your requirements and handed to you at the end. You own the repository, the hosting account, and the domain, and you can take all three to another developer whenever you want.
Search visibility designed in from the start
Server-rendered or prerendered HTML so crawlers see real content rather than an empty page, per-page titles and descriptions, canonical URLs, a sitemap that regenerates itself, and structured data for local business results. Retrofitting this onto a finished site costs far more than building it in.
Performance that holds up on a phone on cellular
Images sized and compressed for the space they occupy, code split so a visitor downloads the page they asked for rather than the whole site, and caching configured so a returning visitor fetches almost nothing. Core Web Vitals are a ranking input, and they are also simply what a fast site feels like.
Accessibility treated as a requirement
Keyboard operation, colour contrast measured rather than eyeballed, form labels and error messages that a screen reader announces, and a heading structure that makes sense out loud. This is both the right thing to do and, with ADA enforcement tightening, the cheaper thing to do before rather than after.
A site your team can actually run
Content you need to change often should not require a developer. We wire up editing for the parts that genuinely change, keep the parts that do not in code where they cannot be broken, and write down which is which.
How the work runs
- STEP 1
Scope and fixed price
We work out what the site has to do, what it has to integrate with, and what success looks like in numbers. You get a fixed price and a schedule before any work starts. If a smaller first phase would get you most of the value, we say so.
- STEP 2
Structure and design
Page structure and content plan first, visual design second. You review working pages in a browser on your own phone, not flat images that hide how something behaves at 375 pixels wide.
- STEP 3
Build and review
Development runs in short cycles against a staging URL you can open at any time. You see progress continuously instead of receiving one large reveal at the end, which is when scope problems become expensive.
- STEP 4
Launch and hand over
We handle DNS, SSL, redirects from old URLs so you keep your existing rankings, analytics, and Search Console. Then you get the credentials, the repository, and documentation covering how to run it.

Web Development: common questions
Can you work with the site we already have?
Usually. We start with a technical review of the code, hosting, performance, and security so you get an honest picture before committing. Modernising a sound site is often the better call, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a rebuild you do not need.
Will we lose our search rankings when we relaunch?
Not if the migration is done properly. Old URLs get permanent redirects to their new equivalents, metadata and structured data carry across, and we monitor Search Console after launch for crawl errors. Ranking loss at relaunch is almost always a missing redirect map.
How much does a custom site cost compared with a template?
More up front and usually less over three years. Template sites accumulate cost in plugin licences, workarounds, and the developer time it takes to fight the template rather than change the site. We give you a fixed price so you can make that comparison with real numbers.
